The Schonstedt
Instrument XT
The GA92-XT is a highly specialized magnetic
locator used to find hidden fero-magnetic
materials. The market for this unit is the
underground utility locating service industry.
The unit was designed with the intent to be worn
in a holster on the user’s belt, with a compact
extendable/retractable action for use and carry.
The product was introduced to market in 2004 and
quickly became the company’s #1 selling
instrument. Since its introduction, a family of
products has followed all based off the original
design foundation.

The Global Secure Safety BVS
(Body Ventilation System)
The BVS filter/blower unit was designed to
be used in conjunction with a perforated vest,
worn under body armor, to force filtered air
across a soldier’s body and cool him through
evaporative means. The unit is worn on a belt
and positioned at the small of the back. A high
pressure micro blower brings air in through a
screw-on, replaceable filter and pumps it into
an air plenum at the bottom of the soldier’s
vest. The unit uses a rechargeable battery and
specially designed circuitry to monitor air flow
and battery life. Global Secure Safety was
awarded a $2 million dollar military contract
for development and delivery of 2k units to
American troops in Iraq during the spring of
2006.

donning in the event of an emergency, such as a
building evacuation or bio-hazard incident.

The Babington UBIAC Burner
Controller
The controller was designed to take an existing
unit from solid-state circuitry to digital and
is used to control the functionality of an
atomizing fuel oil burner. The unit houses two
PCB’s, one controlling the power of the unit,
the other controlling the digital signals. The
electro-mechanical interface from the existing
unit was replaced with a touch pad membrane
panel, and a LCD read-out was added for easy
monitoring of the system functions.
